This tool allows you to import one or more images and make an icon (.ICO) out of them!
Good for making icons for software, favicons, custom icons for shortcuts, and so on.
Import image(s) that you want to make your icon from.
A single image will suffice, but you can use different versions for different sizes.
You can import images by:
- Using the file picker
- Dragging and dropping image file(s) onto the page
- Pasting images directly via Ctrl+V/Command+V
(note: whether transparency is preserved depends on source app and browser)
Add additional sizes using the "Add size" section.
This uses the currently selected size as a base to resize from.
Preview your icon sizes by clicking on them and panning/zooming on the right pane if necessary.
You may re-import your images without having to redo any steps.
Click "Save ICO" to export your icon!
Recent versions of Chrome[-ium], Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.
Apparently works in Internet Explorer 11 but looks slightly off.
It is actually your browser that's doing the work!
You aren't transmitting it anywhere.
Google Analytics are used to tell whether anyone is using the tool,
provided that you don't have the browser and/or extensions blocking that.
You may download the page to use the tool offline.
