• Open...

Loads a GameMaker Studio asset file.

You'll need at least 1.5x file size worth of free RAM for this.

On Mac, pick the IOS file (can be inside app bundle).

On Linux, pick the UNX file inside assets directory.

On Windows, if there's a data.win file, pick that.

Otherwise, pick the executable (which should be bigger).

If that doesn't work, may open executable with 7-zip
and extract the actual files (including data.win) from it.

  • Save as...

Saves the modified file if you have replaced some textures.

Consider making a backup copy if replacing the original file.

  • Show sprites

Displays a list of sprites under the texture

Might take a few moments to process

Also allows you to right-click images to select the sprite using them

  • Save images...

Packs all sprites from the file into a Big ZIP.

Since this is done by the browser, you'll need
at least 3x file size worth of free RAM for this.

Also this can take a little while.

  • Save strips...

Same as "Save images" but joins the images
    into GameMaker-style [name]_strip#.png

Also takes longer for this reason.
